Results

For percentages of correct responses (Table 1) and for correct response times (Figure 2b), no effects were significant. However, response times were faster for related targets than for less-related targets for Timbre B (F(1,32) = 5.03; p < .05). Splitting participants according to their musical expertise did not reveal additional effects.
