B.2.6.1. Method

Subjects. twenty eight healthy volunteers (mean age 21.2, S.E: 1.1, 5 men) participated in the first experiment. All subjects had normal or corrected-to-normal self-reported vision.

Stimuli, apparatus and procedure. Stimuli, apparatus and procedure were exactly similar to those of the first experiment, except that the auditory list was also heard in the single task condition. Participants were told not to pay any attention to the sounds in this latter condition.
