Dans un contexte de mondialisation des échanges, l’information est devenue un enjeu majeur et la mise en place des Nouvelles Technologies d’Information et de Communication (NTIC) dans les entreprises semble offrir une réponse à ces besoins. Malgré les nombreuses recherches réalisées, un doute persiste sur l’apport de ces nouveaux outils aux performances des entreprises et des organisations. Quels sont les impacts de l’utilisation des NTIC sur les performances ? Quelle est la rentabilité des investissements en NTIC ? Comment améliorer les performances liées à l’utilisation des NTIC ?Cette recherche, qui s’appuie sur un ensemble de matériaux expérimentaux constitués d’une évaluation des impacts des NTIC dans un aéroport international, des dysfonctionnements liés aux NTIC dans quatre entreprises et organisations et des résultats d’une enquête menée dans 10 entreprises et organisations, propose de répondre à ces interrogations. Elle montre l’existence de nombreux dysfonctionnements liés à l’utilisation des NTIC qui réduisent de manière importante les performances potentielles induites par ces nouveaux outils et propose, à partir d’une analyse explicative, des pistes de solutions et de réflexions pour améliorer les performances induites par l’utilisation de ces NTIC.Dans une première étape, après avoir positionné les NTIC au sein des systèmes d’information et des organisations, nous présentons la méthodologie utilisée d’évaluation des impacts des NTIC sur les performances. L’application de cette méthodologie permet de recueillir de nombreux matériaux expérimentaux et d’identifier ainsi les impacts (positifs et négatifs) de l’utilisation des NTIC sur les performances. La troisième étape de notre recherche est une étude du coût de l’investissement du projet au sein d’un aéroport international. Une quatrième étape identifie les facteurs explicatifs des pertes de performances liées à l’usage des NTIC, avant de proposer un ensemble de solutions et de réflexions pour l’amélioration des performances liées à l’utilisation des NTIC. |

In a context of exchanges glogalizations, information has become a major stake and the settlement of New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC) in companies seems to offer an answer to these needs. Despite the numerous researches carried out, a doubt is remaining on the contribution of these tools to companies and organizations’ performances. What is the impact of the use of NTIC on performance? Which is the profitability of investments on NTIC? How is it possible to improve performances linked with the use of NTIC?This research, supported by a set of experimental material coming out particularly from the evaluation of the impacts of NTIC in an international airport, the evaluation of the impact of dysfunctions related to NTIC in four companies and organizations and on the results of a survey conducted in 10 companies and organizations, proposes to answer these questions. It aims at showing the existence of numerous dysfunctions linked to the use of NTIC which reduce significantly the performance inferred by the these new tools and offers, by the means of an explanatory analysis of the latter, tracks of solutions and thoughts to allow an improvement of the performance inferred by the use of these NTIC.At first, after giving the position of NTIC within the information systems and organisations, this work is looking for the deficit of a method to evaluate the impacts of NTIC on performance. Thus, the application of this method allows the gathering of numerous experimental material permitting in a second step, through their exploitation, to identify the impact (positive and negative) of the use of NTIC on performance, but also the use dysfunctions. The third step of our research, based on the survey of investments cost of the project in an international airport aims at establishing the level of profitability of such a project, answering in this way, our second question. A fourth step enables through the explanatory study of use dysfunctions, to identify the explanatory factors of performance loss linked to use of NTIC which permit, in a fifth step, to offer a set of solutions and ideas to enchance performance through the use of NTIC. |
