With the tendency to study abroad, more and more Chinese students have come to France to take advanced study in recent years and most of them have obviously the difficulty with the language of French. Among them, those who major in Fashion should particularly improve and perfect their linguistic competences because they have a precise university objective but a less adapted level of French. Furthermore, generally speaking, there is only one public French university for them to choose, i.e. Fashion University of Lyon 2, which makes them in the most difficult situation. Consequently, it requires a special process to prepare the French for these students: we begin with the hypothesis of a potential offer of a training cause for these students, and then we analyse their linguistic needs as well as their cultural needs, followed by a collection of information on site. Next, after an analysis and the treatments of the collected information, we arrive finally at the construction of the class activities. All those succeed a final syllabus of French for Special Objective and a real plan to realise in China later. |
